Speaking on talkSPORT on October 27, Saunders remarked, “Sean [Dyche’s] genius is that he knows his resources.
He’s not trying to create a world-class kitchen with B&Q tools. What he means is, they can’t play like Man City, so they need to find a different way to win.”
He added, “They didn’t play well yesterday. As an Everton fan, you’d probably find it tough to watch, while Fulham played brilliantly.”
Despite the underwhelming performance, a draw is a respectable outcome for Dyche’s team, which remains unbeaten in their last five games.
