Motherwell’s Lennon Miller Could Overtake Nico Raskin at Rangers Amid New Transfer Speculation

While Foster acknowledges Miller would get regular minutes at Ibrox, he prefers to see him move abroad for further development.
Speaking on The Go Radio Football Show (19 March), the 39-year-old said: “At Rangers right now, I think [Miller] plays.
He goes into the team and plays, no problem. No disrespect to Barron or Raskin. I think Miller plays in that team. But I would like to see him… possibly going abroad.”
Ibrox Move Unlikely for Miller
Despite interest from Rangers, Miller’s move to Ibrox in the upcoming transfer window appears unlikely due to strong competition for his signature.
Celtic, given their sustained success in recent years, may be a more attractive option in Scotland.
The gap between the two Old Firm rivals continues to grow, making a switch to the Light Blues a less obvious choice for the young midfielder.
Miller, recently called up to Scotland’s senior squad for the Nations League matches, has drawn attention from multiple clubs.
If Rangers want to secure his services, they would need to present an irresistible offer to both Motherwell and the player.
While Andrew Cavenagh and 49ers Enterprises may inject funds into Ibrox if their takeover materializes, reckless spending seems unlikely.
The American investors have been cautious with finances at Leeds United, and there is no indication their approach would change at Rangers.
Securing Miller would be a significant coup for the Gers, but at this stage, it appears tobe an unrealistic prospect.
