SHOCK TRANSFER BOMBSHELL: Tottenham Set to SNATCH Ballon d’Or Superstar in Jaw-Dropping Coup That’ll Make Frank Lampard Look Like a GENIUS – You Won’t Believe Who’s Coming to Spurs! [MIND BLOWN]

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly among the clubs interested in signing former Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay from Napoli ahead of the January transfer window, according to TEAMtalk.

The 28-year-old has been thriving in Serie A, playing a more advanced role and frequently arriving in the box to score—an aspect of his game that began to flourish during his final years at Old Trafford.

His strong performances in Italy even earned him a Ballon d’Or nomination this year.

TEAMtalk reports that Tottenham are monitoring McTominay closely, although a January move appears unlikely.

The Scottish international has become a key figure under Antonio Conte at Napoli, and the Italian club will be reluctant to part ways with him mid-season.

Nevertheless, McTominay’s profile makes him an attractive target for Spurs, who could revisit the idea in the summer.

The midfielder’s attributes would fit well within Thomas Frank’s high-energy system, with his pressing ability and box-to-box style offering both work rate and attacking threat.

Tottenham’s young squad could benefit from his leadership and Premier League experience, while his versatility—capable of operating as an attacking midfielder or in a deeper role—adds valuable tactical flexibility.

Although a January transfer seems improbable, McTominay could emerge as a priority target later in 2025 if he expresses interest in returning to England.

Joining Spurs could offer him the chance to reestablish himself in the Premier League and add experience to a side full of developing talent.

However, given McTominay’s excellent form in Italy, there is little incentive for him to leave Serie A at present.

Napoli are unlikely to sell cheaply, and with the player approaching 29, Tottenham will need to carefully assess the financial implications of any potential deal.

Even so, if McTominay remains open to a Premier League comeback, Spurs could find him to be a smart and impactful addition to their midfield.
