West Ham United in Prolonged Discussions with AC Milan to Sign Alexis Saelemaekers, Reports Calciomercato
According to their website (20 July), a news outlet reports that Serie A giants are open to selling Alexis Saelemaekers but are not in a rush, demanding £16.8m. They have held talks with West Ham and Leicester recently, with interest also coming from Nottingham Forest and Ipswich. Official offers are expected early next week.
West Ham United is interested in signing Saelemaekers as Julen Lopetegui aims to strengthen the attack at the London Stadium this summer. While Luis Guilherme has already joined from Palmeiras, uncertainties remain regarding the futures of Michail Antonio [Athletic, 15 May] and Danny Ings [talkSPORT, 28 May], and Maxwel Cornet may also leave before the transfer window closes.
