“SHOCKER: Tottenham’s DESPERATE Last-Minute Bid to Snag £300,000-a-Week Superstar in JAW-DROPPING Transfer Heist!”

Tottenham Hotspur have shown serious interest in signing Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku this summer, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.

The North London club has reportedly made an enquiry and is currently the most keen among Premier League sides, ahead of Liverpool and Newcastle.

Nkunku is expected to leave Stamford Bridge in the upcoming transfer window and is open to a return to the Bundesliga, where he previously spent four seasons with RB Leipzig before joining Chelsea in 2023.

Bayern Munich targeted him in January, though Chelsea’s asking price exceeded €60 million (£51 million) at the time.

Jacobs, writing on X, also reported that Nkunku is open to remaining in the Premier League, with Tottenham showing increasing interest.

Despite earning £300,000 per week, the French forward has had limited opportunities under new manager Enzo Maresca, starting just nine Premier League games and seven more in European competitions this season.

Nkunku was an unused substitute in Chelsea’s 4-1 Conference League final win over Real Betis on Wednesday, having missed much of May due to injury.

The 27-year-old has made 42 appearances across all competitions during the campaign, contributing 14 goals and five assists.

He signed a six-year contract upon his move from Leipzig last summer, leaving over four years on his current deal, which runs until 2029.

Tottenham’s interest suggests they are seriously considering bolstering their attacking options, and Nkunku could be a high-profile addition if a deal is reached.
