Rangers Confirm the Signing of Go Ahead Eagles Standout Oliver Antman
Rangers have completed the signing of Finland international Oliver Antman from Go Ahead Eagles in a €6 million move — the most lucrative sale in the Dutch club’s history.
The 23-year-old also becomes the most expensive signing of Russell Martin’s managerial reign at Ibrox so far.
Antman arrives in Glasgow following a standout campaign in the Eredivisie, where he recorded seven goals and 16 assists in 36 appearances across all competitions.
His performances were a driving force behind Go Ahead Eagles’ strong season.
Milan Keskin, FootballTransfers’ Netherlands correspondent, praised the deal, stating: “Antman’s transfer isn’t surprising in the Netherlands.

Aside from his speed and crossing ability, Antman also brings versatility.
Previously used as a left winger for FC Groningen and FC Nordsjaelland, he was deployed mainly on the right for Go Ahead Eagles — a position Keskin believes suits him best.
Will Antman face Viktoria Plzen?
Yes, Antman is eligible to play in the upcoming Champions League third qualifying round clash against Viktoria Plzen — as long as Rangers register him before the UEFA deadline at midnight.
Rangers booked their spot in this round by overcoming Panathinaikos 3-1 on aggregate last week, following a commanding 2-0 win in the first leg and a 1-1 draw in Athens.
Martin’s side host Czech runners-up Viktoria Plzen at Ibrox on 5 August, with the second leg scheduled for 12 August at the Doosan Arena.
Antman could feature as early as tomorrow, with the timing of his arrival giving Martin the option.
While it remains uncertain whether the winger will start, he is expected to be match-ready, having sat out Go Ahead Eagles’ 2-1 defeat to PSV in Sunday’s Johan Cruyff Shield.
