“SHOCKING James Justin Injury Bombshell Drops as Leeds United Transfer Talks EXPLODE!”
Leicester captain James Justin limps off injured in defeat to Preston amid ongoing transfer uncertainty

James Justin limped off during Leicester City’s 2-1 defeat at Preston, raising concerns that his injury could derail a potential move to Leeds United.
The defender once again captained City at Deepdale, despite speculation surrounding his future, with Leeds strongly interested in bringing the versatile full-back back to the Premier League.
However, Justin was unable to finish the game. With just over 15 minutes remaining, he was fouled by Jordan Storey and needed medical treatment.
After a short assessment, it was clear he could not continue, and he hobbled down the tunnel to be replaced by Hamza Choudhury.
City boss Marti Cifuentes confirmed afterwards: “JJ unfortunately got a kick on the leg.
The medical team is assessing. I don’t know the exact outcome, but hopefully it’s not an injury, or at least not a big one.”
Justin is now entering the final year of his contract at the King Power Stadium, making a transfer this summer increasingly likely to avoid losing him on a free next year.
Leeds have been in advanced talks over a deal in recent days as they look to strengthen their defensive options, and despite the uncertainty, Cifuentes still named him captain.
If the injury proves serious, Leeds may reconsider their pursuit, potentially leaving Justin at Leicester.
For Cifuentes, though, the immediate issue is selecting a right-back for next weekend’s clash with Charlton, where City will be looking to bounce back from defeat.
Choudhury could fill in, while Ricardo Pereira may return to fitness in time to make his first competitive appearance under the new manager.
