With United now anticipating loan interest for the left-sided defender, Amass had reportedly hoped to compete for a spot in Erik ten Hag’s squad, particularly in the left wing-back role.

But with competition fierce, a loan move could be on the horizon.

The report suggests that ‘influential figures’ at Old Trafford expect inquiries from Championship clubs, and Leicester are among the front-runners.

Their interest has intensified following their Premier League exit.
