As Andriy Yarmolenko sealed Dynamo Kyiv’s return to domestic glory by converting the title-clinching penalty on Sunday and adorning the trophy with blue and white ribbons for the first time in four years, another key figure in their success may be preparing for a move to the Premier League.

Reports suggest that Vladyslav Vanat, the division’s standout top scorer, has attracted strong interest from Leeds United and Fulham.

Yet, according to TBR Football, West Ham United are also monitoring the £17 million-rated forward as they look to bolster their attacking options.

Vanat, a natural goalscorer with growing reliability, secured Ukraine’s Golden Boot last season and is poised to retain it this year—barring an extraordinary four-goal performance from Shakhtar Donetsk’s Georgiy Sudakov in the final match of the 2025/26 campaign.

Following Dynamo Kyiv’s league title triumph—their first since 2021—Vanat has expressed his desire to step up to one of Europe’s top leagues.

Speaking after the title win, which he helped clinch alongside veteran Yarmolenko, Vanat admitted that he is hoping for a move in the near future.

“I believe every footballer dreams of playing in Europe’s major leagues, and I’m no exception,” Vanat told Dynamo Mania.

Heading into the final day of the season with 21 goals and eight assists, he added, “I hope an offer will come soon—one that satisfies both the club president and myself—so everything can be agreed upon.”

Vanat remained coy on specifics regarding transfer interest: “I haven’t been told anything concrete.

My main focus was on winning the championship. Of course, I wanted to win the Cup too, but unfortunately we couldn’t do it after losing on penalties to Shakhtar.”

With the summer transfer window approaching and clubs like Leeds, Fulham, Brentford, Wolves, and West Ham all reportedly keen on his services, Vanat may soon have the opportunity to follow Yarmolenko’s path into the Premier League.

The precedent for Ukrainian Golden Boot winners making successful moves abroad bodes well for Vanat.

Artem Dovbyk, who claimed the same award before transferring from Dnipro to Girona, thrived in La Liga and now plays for Roma in Serie A. Vanat could be next in line to carry that torch.

Ukrainian football journalist Viktor Vasko also believes Vanat is primed for a major transfer. “Of all Dynamo Kyiv’s players, Vanat looks the most promising in terms of a potential sale,” Vasko explained.

“He’s 23 years old, plays for the national team, and has finished as top scorer in the Ukrainian league for two consecutive seasons.

That’s something that European clubs will certainly take into account.”

Vasko estimates Vanat’s market value around €20 million and expects Dynamo Kyiv to include a sell-on clause in any deal. “A 20 or 30 percent clause on a future transfer would be a smart move.

This type of deal is feasible for clubs in the top five European leagues,” he said. “Whether Dynamo will accept an offer in that region remains to be seen.”
