Exclusive: Everton now readying bid to sign attacker compared to Iliman Ndiaye, he wants Premier League move

David Moyes has revitalized Everton since taking over from Sean Dyche in January, leading the Toffees to four wins and five draws in ten Premier League matches.

This resurgence has lifted the Merseyside club to 15th place, comfortably clear of the relegation zone.

Looking ahead, Everton aims to strengthen their squad under Moyes, identifying Emanuel Emegha as a key target for the summer transfer window.

Everton Targeting Emanuel Emegha

Graeme Bailey, Chief Correspondent at TBR Football, reports that Everton is preparing a bid for the Dutch striker following his strong performances at Strasbourg.

Emegha, previously on West Ham’s radar in January, has netted 11 goals and provided two assists in 21 Ligue 1 appearances, helping Strasbourg climb to seventh in the table.

BlueCo, the ownership group behind Chelsea and Strasbourg, is reportedly open to selling the Netherlands U21 international this summer, looking to capitalize on his rising value. However, Everton faces stiff competition.

TBR Football understands that West Ham remains interested, with manager Graham Potter in need of a new striker due to injuries to Michail Antonio and Niclas Fullkrug.

Newcastle is also monitoring Emegha as a potential successor to Callum Wilson, while Chelsea is actively scouting the Den Haag-born forward.

At present, Everton appears to be leading the race, with Emegha—who was a Tottenham target in 2023—keen on a Premier League move this summer.

Everton, who are also pursuing Christian Norgaard, already secured a standout talent from French football last summer when they signed Iliman Ndiaye from Marseille for £16.9 million.

Interestingly, Emegha has drawn comparisons to the Senegalese forward.

Football Transfers has likened the Strasbourg star to Everton’s No.10, who has impressed at Goodison Park with six goals in 24 Premier League appearances this season.
