Tottenham Hotspur enjoyed a largely productive summer transfer window, with several new arrivals already proving influential in the Premier League.

The same patience is unlikely to extend to Richarlison, whose time at Spurs increasingly appears to be running out.
Signed from Everton for £60m in 2022, the Brazilian arrived with high expectations, yet his three-year spell has fallen short. Across 108 appearances in all competitions, he has scored only 24 goals.
His wages — £90,000 per week — total £18.72m since joining, meaning his combined cost to the club stands at a massive £78.72m. Effectively, Spurs have paid over £3.28m per goal.
His performances this season further underline the problem.
Richarlison has scored four league goals but missed six big chances, while being the player with the fewest touches on the pitch in four of his 11 appearances.
His passing accuracy sits at just 63%, placing him among the lowest-ranked forwards in the division.
With such limited end product, Frank may have little choice but to phase him out, even if injuries to Dominic Solanke and Randal Kolo Muani complicate matters.
Fortunately for Spurs, Mathys Tel offers a promising alternative. Signed permanently from Bayern Munich in the summer for around £27m after a successful loan, the 20-year-old has struggled for starts, featuring from the outset in only three of Tottenham’s 11 league games.
Still, he has been highly effective when used, scoring twice and boasting the best minutes-per-goal ratio in the squad at 124 minutes per strike.
Praised as “one of the best finishers in Europe,” Tel brings dynamism, dribbling ability, and lively off-the-shoulder movement that unsettles defenders.
Despite his slender build, he presses effectively, winning possession 1.1 times per 90 minutes in the final third — a figure that places him in the 95th percentile.
Although still developing, Tel has already shown enough quality to justify a regular place in the starting XI.
Meanwhile, Richarlison risks slipping to the fringes, with Tottenham’s hierarchy likely needing to sell sooner rather than later to avoid further financial loss on a costly and disappointing investment.
