Those claims have been made by former Everton, Aston Villa and Aberdeen chief executive Keith Wyness, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, as he raised doubts over the long-term intentions of Tottenham Hotspur’s current ownership.

Despite firm assurances from Spurs’ owners that the club is not on the market, questions have continued to surface following the departure of long-serving executive chairman Daniel Levy.

In the wake of Levy’s exit, Tottenham confirmed they would carry out a full accounting review of his time at the helm, a move that has only added to speculation about the club’s direction behind the scenes.

Wyness admitted he has not seen strong, decisive leadership from the Lewis family stepping into the void left by Levy.
