Tottenham Hotspur are pleased to confirm the return of Fabio Paratici to the Club as Sporting Director, where he will work alongside Johan Lange, who has also been promoted to the same position.
This move is part of a wider restructuring of the Club’s men’s football operations, aimed at strengthening leadership, collaboration, and long-term strategic planning across all levels of the men’s and boys’ game.
Together, Fabio and Johan will oversee the Club’s overall football strategy, driving an ambitious new era for Tottenham Hotspur.
The development is in line with the Club’s continued investment in world-class structures across both the men’s and women’s programmes to ensure sustained on-pitch success.
The combination of Johan’s and Fabio’s expertise will guarantee alignment across all football decisions – from player pathways and performance development to scouting and recruitment – with one shared objective: to build a consistently competitive, world-class men’s team.
Their partnership represents a modern and progressive approach to football management, uniting two highly respected leaders with complementary skills and a shared commitment to collaboration and innovation.
Fabio, who previously served as Tottenham’s Managing Director of Football between 2021 and 2023 after an illustrious decade at Juventus and earlier work at U.C. Sampdoria, expressed his excitement at returning.
“I’m delighted to come back to a Club that I love,” he said. “Having worked with Johan, Vinai and Thomas as a consultant for several months, I now look forward to returning to London full-time.

Johan Lange, who joined Tottenham in November 2023 following key roles at Aston Villa and FC Copenhagen, echoed that optimism.
