Tottenham Hotspur are among several Premier League clubs monitoring the impressive form of Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo, though no talks have taken place over a potential transfer, according to GIVEMESPORT’s senior football correspondent Fabrizio Romano.
Spurs have undergone major structural changes in recent weeks that could influence future transfer activity, with chairman Daniel Levy stepping down and Fabio Paratici returning to work as joint sporting director alongside Johan Lange.
Romano confirmed that Tottenham are tracking Semenyo, but he emphasised that any move remains premature with the January transfer window still more than two months away.
“Many clubs are tracking him, Spurs and not only. But it’s not something being discussed now, it’s too early,” Romano said.
The Ghana international has been in outstanding form for Bournemouth this season, registering six goals and three assists in seven Premier League appearances.
Semenyo signed a new five-year contract with the Cherries in July, but his explosive start to the campaign has inevitably drawn attention from bigger clubs.
Despite Tottenham’s attacking options already being bolstered in the summer by signings such as Mohammed Kudus, Xavi Simons, Mathys Tel, and Randal Kolo Muani, reports suggest the club could still target another forward in 2026.
Semenyo’s consistency and versatility make him a strong candidate, though any deal would likely be complicated and expensive.
Bournemouth are expected to demand a significant fee should they ever decide to part with their prized asset, with TalkSPORT claiming that a release clause exists in Semenyo’s contract and that the south coast club would seek a figure exceeding £75 million.
GIVEMESPORT’s Ben Jacobs has also reported that both Tottenham and Manchester United previously held talks with Semenyo before he committed his future to Bournemouth, while Liverpool are believed to be long-term admirers.
Former England winger Chris Waddle has even described the 25-year-old as “the best winger in England right now,” underlining the growing hype around his performances.
