SHOCKING TRANSFER BOMBSHELL: West Ham in DESPERATE SECRET TALKS to SNATCH Star Winger – RIVAL CLUBS LAUNCH ALL-OUT WAR to BLOCK Hammers’ Ruthless Raid!

West Ham United sounded out Flamengo over a possible January move for Gonzalo Plata, but the Brazilian side have now delivered a firm response.

As reported by Bolavip, Flamengo boss Filipe Luís has blocked any chance of the winger leaving in the upcoming window.

The Hammers assessed the feasibility of a deal after rumours in Brazil suggested Plata could be allowed to depart.

Bournemouth and Leeds United also made initial enquiries, but West Ham were among the first to take concrete steps.

Despite that interest, Bolavip claims Flamengo have no intention of negotiating the Ecuadorian’s exit.

Filipe Luís still considers him a valuable member of the squad, even after a spell marked by a few controversial red cards.

Plata retains strong backing from the coaching team, which has effectively ended any transfer discussions.

Flamengo’s message is straightforward: they expect him to remain part of their plans through 2026.

Since joining the club, the winger has featured in 63 matches, contributing seven goals and 10 assists.

This season alone he has delivered five goals and nine assists across 46 appearances.

Primarily operating from the right flank, Plata likes to cut onto his left foot and uses his speed and close control to unsettle defenders.

He is also capable of playing on either wing and provides variety through his passing range and far-post crossing.

Although clubs in England continue to follow his situation, Flamengo’s firm stance leaves limited room for negotiations.

Any potential movement would depend on a change of heart from the Brazilian side later in the window, but for now their position remains unchanged.
