SHOCKING TRANSFER BOMBSHELL: West Ham Launch MEGA BID for the Mystery Superstar That HALF THE PREMIER LEAGUE is DESPERATELY Fighting Over – Alongside Beast-Mode Adama Traoré! You Won’t Believe Who’s Next After Castellanos and Pablo…

West Ham United are reportedly lining up a move for Toulouse centre-back and England Under-21 international Charlie Cresswell as they continue to reshape their squad during the January transfer window.

The Hammers have made an aggressive start to the market as they look to provide Nuno Espirito Santo with the tools needed to reverse a difficult campaign.

Several attacking reinforcements are already in motion, with West Ham confirming the signing of Brazilian forward Pablo Felipe on Friday.

In addition, the club have reached an agreement with Lazio over a deal worth around £25 million for striker Taty Castellanos.

West Ham are also pushing to secure Wolves winger Adama Traore, with reports suggesting the Spaniard could reunite with Espirito Santo on a short-term contract, further strengthening the manager’s attacking options.

Cresswell on West Ham’s Radar

According to TEAMtalk, attention is now turning to defensive reinforcements, with West Ham preparing a formal offer for Cresswell.

The London Stadium outfit are keen to add players capable of lifting them away from danger, with performances this season falling well below expectations.

West Ham currently find themselves hovering just above the relegation zone, sitting third from bottom after collecting only three points from their last seven Premier League matches under Espirito Santo.

Defensive issues have been a major concern, with the club conceding the second-highest number of goals in the division.

Cresswell is viewed as a potential solution to those problems.

The highly-rated defender has been a standout performer for Toulouse in Ligue 1, featuring in every minute of their league campaign so far and contributing three goals from the back.

His consistency and physical presence have not gone unnoticed, with multiple Premier League sides believed to be tracking his progress.

West Ham are understood to have followed Cresswell closely throughout the season, though Toulouse remain in a strong bargaining position.

The French club tied the Preston-born centre-back to a long-term contract running until the summer of 2028, meaning any deal would likely require a significant offer.

Sterling Loan Also Considered

Defensive reinforcements may not be the final piece of business for West Ham this month.

The club are also exploring the possibility of bringing in Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling, who has yet to feature in the Premier League this season.

Sterling is reportedly open to leaving Stamford Bridge, but any loan move would need to include an obligation to buy.

That stipulation could force West Ham into committing to a permanent deal if they decide to pursue the England international.

Pressure Mounting on Espirito Santo

Despite strong backing in the transfer market, Espirito Santo’s position remains under scrutiny.

Sources suggest West Ham have not completely dismissed the idea of another managerial change should results fail to improve soon, with former boss Slaven Bilic emerging as a surprise candidate to return if the situation worsens.
