“SHOCKING TWIST! Ex-Everton Hero from Moyes Era Set to STUN Leicester by OUSTING Van Nistelrooy in EPIC Takeover!”
Several Former Everton Players Have Ventured into Management

Mikel Arteta stands out as the most successful former player-turned-manager, with Arsenal preparing for a Champions League semi-final later this month.
In contrast, other former footballers like Wayne Rooney and Duncan Ferguson have struggled to find similar success in management.
However, Rooney could soon return to the dugout, with reports linking him to the vacant Blackburn Rovers job.
Another ex-Everton player now making headlines is Lee Carsley, who has been strongly linked with the Leicester City managerial role.

Following their relegation from the Premier League, Leicester are expected to part ways with Ruud van Nistelrooy after a dismal run of form, including 16 defeats in their last 18 league games.
According to talkSPORT, Carsley, currently the England Under-21 manager, is emerging as a top candidate for the Foxes.
He previously played under David Moyes at Everton and was also linked with the Leicester job last November when Steve Cooper was dismissed. It’s clear he is well-regarded by the club’s hierarchy.
Other names under consideration include Southampton boss Russell Martin and former midfielder Cesc Fabregas.
Interestingly, the Friedkin Group—who recently appointed Moyes—had also considered Carsley for a managerial role.
After his brief tenure as England’s interim manager, Carsley was in the frame to replace Sean Dyche.
Although the role ultimately went to Moyes, Carsley reportedly turned down the opportunity to work as his assistant, opting instead to wait for the right opportunity to lead a team himself.
Now, he may be poised for his first major break in club management. Leicester, despite their relegation, will be among the top contenders for promotion next season.
The club also boasts a strong group of emerging young talent, making it an ideal fit for someone with Carsley’s background in youth development.
His appointment could mark the start of an exciting new era at the King Power Stadium.
