Jordan Ayew Joins Leicester: Boost for Foxes’ Attack
Leicester City has signed Ghanaian forward Jordan Ayew from Crystal Palace, aiming to enhance their attacking options.
The 32-year-old agreed to a two-year contract with an initial fee of £5 million, which could increase to £8 million with add-ons.
Ayew’s Tenure at Crystal Palace
During his six years at Crystal Palace, Ayew made 212 appearances and scored 23 goals. He joined the club initially on loan in 2018 and became a reliable figure in their attack.
His last appearance for Palace was in a 2-1 defeat to Brentford, where he came on as a substitute in the second half.
Leicester’s New Additions
Alongside Ayew, Oliver Skipp has also joined Leicester City, arriving from Tottenham Hotspur for £20 million earlier this week.
These signings reflect Leicester’s determination to strengthen their squad after earning promotion back to the Premier League.
