The Liverpool Echo journalist shared on X (29 November) that Armando Broja was substituted during Everton Under-21s’ Premier League 2 match against Nottingham Forest, a game that ended in a 4-2 loss at Finch Farm on Friday (29 November).
Broja, alongside fellow forward Youssef Chermiti, started and played most of the match as they worked toward full fitness following injuries.
Broja has yet to make his Everton debut since joining on loan from Chelsea.
The journalist, Thomas, noted: “That’s it for Broja, replaced after 73 minutes by Jacob Beaumont-Clark.
He looked a bit stiff as he walked off, but that’s expected after such a long time out.
A good run out, even if Everton struggled today. The club will assess his involvement at Old Trafford after this game.”
Everton Needs Broja Fit for Manchester United Clash
While Broja isn’t expected to start against Manchester United at Old Trafford, Everton fans are eager for fresh attacking options to improve their team’s struggling form.
