TFG Awaits Kenwright Estate’s Written Agreement to Remove Everton Takeover Notice – The Esk
Friedkin Group Awaits Kenwright Estate's Approval to Expedite Everton Takeover Process, Says The Esk

According to a report shared on X [13 December], if 95% of Everton shareholders provide written agreement, the standard 14-day notice period for a shareholders’ general meeting could be waived.
This update follows the Premier League’s approval for the Friedkin Group to proceed with their takeover of Everton, as reported by Sky Sports News on the same day.
If this shareholder agreement is reached, a meeting could be convened immediately and held virtually.
This 95% threshold could be met solely through the combined shares of Farhad Moshiri and the Kenwright estate.
Henry Winter, in an exclusive for Goodison News, revealed that the Friedkin Group is finalizing paperwork for their takeover.
The process could be expedited if the Kenwright estate provides the necessary confirmation.
The Friedkin Group is currently awaiting written approval from the Kenwright estate to complete the acquisition.

Moshiri is selling his 94.1% stake in Everton to the Friedkin Group, signaling significant changes for the club.
Updates have also been shared regarding the future of Everton director Kevin Thelwell amid this transition [via TEAMtalk, 13 December].
Although fans at Goodison Park have endured a prolonged and challenging process, the takeover appears imminent.
The Kenwright estate holds 1.3% of Everton shares, and their agreement would enable the meeting to proceed immediately, facilitating the Friedkin Group’s takeover.
However, if the Kenwright estate delays its decision, the process could extend further.
In this scenario, another minority shareholder could potentially step in to provide written agreement, ensuring the 95% threshold is met if the Kenwright estate declines to participate.
Regardless of any potential delays, the Friedkin Group’s arrival in the Premier League now seems inevitable, marking a new chapter for Everton Football Club.
