Leicester City Fans United in Criticism of One Player After Brentford Loss, Van Nistelrooy Urged to Act

Ruud van Nistelrooy was named Leicester City manager on Friday evening and wasted no time getting acquainted with his new team, traveling to Brentford to watch them in action for the first time under his leadership.

The Foxes made an encouraging start, taking the lead in the 21st minute when Jamie Vardy set up Facundo Buonanotte for the opening goal.

However, Van Nistelrooy’s subdued reaction suggested he understood the significant challenges that lay ahead.

Suggestions for alternative options at right-back also surfaced.

One fan suggested, “Hamza Choudhury would do a better job. We need a new back-four in January.”

Saturday marked Van Nistelrooy’s first real glimpse of Justin struggling this season, but it wasn’t an isolated case.

When Leicester faced Manchester United in the Carabao Cup earlier this season, Justin also came under scrutiny.

This trend has been a recurring issue, with opponents regularly exploiting Leicester’s vulnerabilities on the right flank.

With Ricardo Pereira sidelined for several months due to injury, Van Nistelrooy has limited choices at right-back.

However, many fans are calling for Hamza Choudhury to take Justin’s place in the starting lineup for Leicester’s next match on Tuesday.
