Tottenham Hotspur are confident of securing Bournemouth star Antoine Semenyo’s signature in the upcoming January transfer window, according to Fichajes.

Tottenham Hotspur have enjoyed a strong start to the season under Thomas Frank, yet concerns remain over their recent lack of goals, with the forwards struggling to find the net in the last five matches across all competitions.

To address that issue, Frank is keen to add a prolific attacker, and reports from Fichajes suggest that Spurs view Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo as the “ideal fit” due to his power, pace, and clinical finishing.

Bournemouth regard Semenyo as a vital member of their squad but are reportedly open to offers of around £70 million for the Ghanaian international in the January transfer window.

Tottenham’s hierarchy are said to be fully convinced of the 25-year-old’s quality and prepared to meet that price to bring him to north London.

Semenyo has been in outstanding form this season, tallying six goals and three assists in 10 Premier League appearances.

Primarily operating from the left flank, he is equally comfortable playing on the right.

His overall contribution extends beyond scoring — he averages 2.1 successful dribbles, wins 6.5 duels, and records over five ball recoveries per game, along with close to two successful tackles.

Praised by teammate Justin Kluivert as “world-class,” Semenyo could prove to be an ideal complement to fellow Ghanaian Mohamed Kudus, who has established himself on the right wing for Spurs.

The Cherries, known for selling key players when the price is right, may find it difficult to resist a lucrative offer if Tottenham match their valuation.
