Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly eager to strengthen their attacking options in January, with a particular focus on adding a new number nine to Ange Postecoglou’s squad.

The North London side have been linked with several strikers, including Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic and Porto youngster Samu Aghehowa.

However, a new report suggests Spurs are now considering a different route, with interest in a highly-rated Brazilian talent.

According to talkSPORT, Tottenham are among three Premier League clubs exploring a possible loan move for Real Madrid’s Endrick.

The 19-year-old striker, who joined the Spanish giants amid much excitement, has struggled for playing time since his move to the Bernabeu.

He has not featured at all this season under new manager Xabi Alonso, which has led to growing frustration over his limited role.

Reports claim Endrick is now open to leaving Madrid on loan in January to secure regular football ahead of next summer’s World Cup.

Any potential suitor, however, would need to pay a significant loan fee and cover his full £70,000-per-week wages.

Tottenham are not alone in the race, with West Ham United and Aston Villa also reportedly showing interest in securing the Brazilian’s signature.

While Spurs currently have several options in attack — including Richarlison, Randal Kolo Muani, Mathys Tel, and Dominic Solanke — none have cemented themselves as the undisputed first-choice striker this season due to inconsistency and injuries.

There has also been growing speculation that Tottenham could offload Richarlison in the upcoming transfer window.

Should that happen, it would free up both space in the squad and funds for the potential arrival of another forward — possibly paving the way for Endrick to make a temporary switch to North London.
