Harry Hughes set to sign new Tottenham deal

Hughes, who previously captained Northern Ireland’s Under-16s, is currently recovering from a long-term injury but is still highly regarded within the academy setup.

His offer follows Oscar Sandiford’s recent contract extension. Sandiford, a right-back signed from Crystal Palace in 2024, has already made several appearances for the U18s this season and has caught the eye with his performances.

Under-16 goalkeeper Max Sievey has also agreed a two-year scholarship, marking a thriving period for Tottenham’s youth development programme.

Solomon Olajide joins Hughes in securing Spurs future

Left-sided centre-back Solomon Olajide has likewise been offered a two-year scholarship ahead of next season, as confirmed by Lilywhite Rose. Olajide has already tasted U18 football, featuring in a clean-sheet win against Birmingham City.

Tottenham are currently working through a long list of talented Under-16 players, meaning supporters should expect even more youth commitments over the coming months.

Hotspur Way continues to nurture several standout prospects, including striker Ashiah Haughton-Sinclair, who has already drawn comparisons to Harry Kane.

Haughton-Sinclair has recorded over 40 goal contributions this season and hit an astonishing 65 goals last year.

Having already debuted for the Under-15s, he appears close to stepping up to U18 level.
