Tottenham poised to extend Heung-min Son’s contract, keeping their captain until 2026.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported that Tottenham Hotspur plan to activate an option in Son Heung-min’s contract, which is due to expire next summer.

This move underlines the club’s determination to retain their star forward, with discussions since October pointing towards this decision.

Writing for GiveMeSport, Romano explained:

“The expectation remains to activate the option and keep Son at the club until June 2026.

That has been the internal stance since October, awaiting formal steps as these decisions always require care.”
