“Tottenham Set to Snag Algerian Superstar for a Jaw-Dropping £8.5M Steal This Summer!”

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly eyeing a move for Algerian midfielder Adem Zorgane as they look to bolster their midfield this summer.

Several recent reports suggest that signing a defensive midfielder is a key priority for Brentford boss Thomas Frank, and with speculation mounting over Yves Bissouma potentially leaving Spurs—given he is entering the final year of his contract—it appears the North London side are preparing for reinforcements.

DZ Foot claims that Tottenham are now pursuing Zorgane, who currently plays for Belgian club Sporting Charleroi.

Since joining the Jupiler Pro League side in 2021, the 25-year-old has developed into one of the league’s most dependable holding midfielders.

Tottenham reportedly scouted Zorgane last season and were particularly impressed with his performance against KVC Westerlo in May.

Scouts were initially believed to be monitoring young talents Alfie Devine and Luka Vuskovic, but Zorgane’s standout display caught their attention.

The Algerian international has made his intentions clear, having already informed Charleroi of his desire to leave this summer. The Belgian club is not expected to block his departure.

Zorgane is valued at €10 million (£8.5 million), a fee considered affordable by Spurs. This price tag has reportedly been enough to prompt Tottenham into seriously exploring a move.

Royal Antwerp are also interested in signing Zorgane and have initiated contact with the player.

However, their pursuit may be hindered by financial constraints, as they would need to offload players to fund the transfer.

Tottenham, by contrast, are not limited by such restrictions, giving them a clear advantage in the race.

With Spurs actively monitoring the situation, a summer switch to North London for the 25-year-old midfielder could now be on the cards.
