SHOCKING! £27M Superstar Desperate to DITCH Tottenham Hotspur THIS January!

Fabrizio Romano has revealed Sergio Reguilon's imminent plans for his future with Tottenham Hotspur.

The indication from Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano is that Brentford is expressing a strong interest in acquiring Tottenham Hotspur’s left-back, Sergio Reguilon, during the ongoing January transfer window.

Romano’s report suggests that Reguilon is determined to seek regular first-team action, a prospect not feasible at Tottenham. Valued at £27 million (as per The Independent), the left-back is eager to secure a move to a new club this transfer window after spending the initial part of the season on loan at Manchester United.

According to Romano, Brentford is actively pursuing a deal with Tottenham for Reguilon, as the player is keen on consistent playing time to regain his best form.

In the commentator’s perspective, there seems to be no long-term future for Reguilon at Tottenham Hotspur. The former Real Madrid left-back, who had loan spells at Atletico Madrid and Manchester United, has not been able to establish himself in the first team according to the Tottenham management’s assessment. With a contract running until the summer of 2025, Romano suggests that a permanent move, either in the current January transfer window or during the summer of 2024, would be in the best interest of both Tottenham and Reguilon.
