Tottenham Hotspur secured the signing of Mathys Tel on an initial loan in January before making the move permanent this summer.

However, the Frenchman was not the club’s primary target during the last transfer window.

Reports indicate that Spurs made a late push to land Randal Kolo Muani in January, but the striker ultimately chose a loan switch to Juventus instead of a move to North London.

Last month, it emerged that Tottenham were ready to reignite their pursuit of the French forward if Juventus failed to secure him permanently.

With recent developments, Spurs may now have the opportunity to make that happen.

Tottenham offered the chance to sign Randal Kolo Muani

Journalist Graeme Bailey has revealed that Kolo Muani’s potential permanent transfer to Juventus has stalled, with the Italian club struggling to reach an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain.

As a result, PSG have offered the striker to several clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur.

Newcastle United and Manchester United have also been approached, as both clubs remain in the market for attacking reinforcements. Speaking to TBR Football, Bailey said:

“Kolo Muani’s move to Juventus has stalled. They want him back on loan with an option to buy, but PSG aren’t on board. They believe better terms could come from other clubs.

He’s enjoyed his spell in Turin, but we’re told he still has his sights set on England – Tottenham came very close to signing him in January.

Spurs have been contacted again, and so have Manchester United and Newcastle. All three are monitoring him closely.

He’s still seen as a major talent and is now potentially back on the market, which makes him an attractive option.”

What’s the price tag?

According to TBR Football, PSG are open to selling Kolo Muani outright for €50 million (£43.3 million), after manager Luis Enrique deemed him surplus to requirements.

Alternatively, the Ligue 1 club would consider a loan deal for €5 million (£4.3 million) with an obligation to buy for €45 million (£39 million).

However, it remains uncertain whether Tottenham are actively pursuing another striker this summer, especially n part of the Spurs setup.
