Tottenham’s Transfer Meltdown Exposed: £16m Bodo/Glimt Beast Lined Up as ‘Plan B’ – Is This the Panic Signing That Saves (or Dooms) Our Season?!

Reports suggest Tottenham Hotspur are unlikely to trigger their option to sign Randal Kolo Muani permanently following what has been a largely underwhelming loan spell in north London for the French forward.

With uncertainty also surrounding Richarlison’s future — as Spurs could look to cash in on the Brazilian this summer — the club may be forced into the market for a new centre-forward ahead of next season.

One name now linked with the Lilywhites is Kasper Hogh, who has been in outstanding form since joining Bodo/Glimt in 2024.

The 25-year-old has been particularly impressive in European competition, registering four goals and three assists in nine appearances in this season’s Champions League.

His performances on the continental stage have reportedly drawn interest from several clubs, including Tottenham.

According to Sports Boom, Hogh is expected to consider a move to one of Europe’s top leagues during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Intermediaries are said to have presented his profile to Tottenham’s hierarchy as they assess potential attacking reinforcements. However, Spurs are not currently viewing him as a top-priority signing.

Instead, they are monitoring his progress and see him as a relatively affordable alternative — a physical “Plan B” option who could provide a different dimension to their attack.

Standing at over 1.90 metres tall, Hogh’s imposing presence has also caught the attention of Wolves, who are exploring the addition of a modern target man.

Meanwhile, interest is also emerging from Germany and Italy, with Wolfsburg, Union Berlin, Udinese and Torino all keeping tabs on the Danish striker.

Bodo/Glimt rejected bids in the €8m–€9m range during January, but the Norwegian champions are now believed to value Hogh at between €15m and €18m — a fee that would represent a record sale for the club.
