Nixon, reporting via his Patreon platform, stated, “Leicester City are in negotiations to sign Paraguayan right winger Ramon Sosa from Talleres in Argentina. The Foxes have been pursuing the speedy and powerful winger for several weeks and recently met with his representatives to discuss terms.”
Sosa, a 24-year-old right-footed left winger, fits the profile favored by manager Steve Cooper, known for his preference for fast and direct wide players. Sosa’s style involves beating defenders with his pace and cutting inside on his dominant right foot, either for a shot on goal or to deliver crosses to teammates. Currently on international duty with Paraguay at the Copa America, Sosa has earned 13 caps for his country, showcasing his international pedigree despite not yet scoring.
At club level, Sosa has been more prolific, tallying 17 goals and 13 assists in 56 appearances for Talleres.
