Recent developments indicate that Niclas Fullkrug is set to leave the club in the upcoming winter window.
Since his arrival from Borussia Dortmund, the German striker has struggled to deliver consistently, finding the net only three times in 28 appearances.
His lack of impact has increased the urgency within the club to strengthen the attacking department.

Despite this, the Hammers are expected to return with an improved offer due to their strong desire to bring in the Brazilian forward.
Nuno is said to be a huge admirer of Leonardo, having tracked him closely during his time as Nottingham Forest manager, when the player was also linked with a Premier League move.
Nuno has made the recruitment of a new striker the top focus for the January window, and landing the 22-year-old would provide the club with a prolific talent who is currently enjoying an excellent run of form.
