West Ham Nearing £15 Million Deal for Star, According to Sky Sports Journalist

Manchester United Right-Back Aaron Wan-Bissaka Is a Key Transfer Target for West Ham United This Summer

Reports suggest that a valuation gap currently exists between West Ham and Manchester United regarding Aaron Wan-Bissaka, with the Hammers valuing him at £10 million while Manchester United are asking for £15 million.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is exactly the kind of player West Ham should target this summer. His arrival would be a significant upgrade over Vladimir Coufal.

Interestingly, Manchester United is keen to sell the 26-year-old right-back to the Hammers to fund their move for Bayern Munich’s Noussair Mazraoui.

West Ham appears well-positioned to bring the former Crystal Palace man to the London Stadium, but the owners are reluctant to meet the £15 million asking price.

Given the necessity of adding a new right-back this summer, it is crucial for the Hammers board to make this deal happen.

Wan-Bissaka’s explosive pace would transform West Ham, allowing the team to play higher up the pitch and adopt a more aggressive defensive style.

The full-back now seems close to moving from Old Trafford to the London Stadium, with both clubs nearing a compromise.

Manchester United is willing to compromise on the price for Wan-Bissaka. The 26-year-old joined Manchester United in 2019 from Crystal Palace for £50 million and has been a solid performer, although he hasn’t met the high expectations set for him.

While his offensive abilities need improvement, West Ham requires a strong defender, and his attacking skills can be developed.

Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth reports that a compromise could soon be reached between West Ham and Manchester United for Wan-Bissaka.

In today’s market, £10-15 million for a Premier League-proven full-back is a reasonable price.

West Ham has long neglected the full-back position, and securing Wan-Bissaka would be a significant step forward.

If Wan-Bissaka joins West Ham this summer, it would be an exciting development for the club. After securing the right-back, head coach Julen Lopetegui will likely focus on strengthening other areas of the squad.

To remain competitive on all fronts, West Ham needs to sign a proper centre-forward and a powerful box-to-box midfielder to complement Edson Alvarez.

Jhon Duran is a priority target for Lopetegui, but a move for Niclas Fullkrug is also being pursued.

While it remains unclear which striker will join West Ham, Duran appears to be the preferred option.

Hopefully, the interest in Fullkrug is a tactic to lower Aston Villa’s asking price for Duran.

In central midfield, Youssouf Fofana would be an excellent signing, and Lopetegui is reportedly interested in bringing him to the London Stadium.

However, Fofana seems keen on joining AC Milan, making that deal challenging to finalize.

The additions of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Duran, and Fofana would elevate West Ham to a new level. Whether Lopetegui can secure these players remains to be seen.
