West Ham are currently working on multiple deals, prioritizing the addition of a new striker and right-back.
The club has shown strong interest in Borussia Dortmund attacker Niclas Fullkrug and is in talks to bring him on board.
Simultaneously, West Ham is also close to signing Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka, although an agreement has not yet been reached.
In addition to these moves, West Ham is looking to sign a new winger.
West Ham target Galatasaray winger Baris Alper Yilmaz
The Hammers have been linked with a move for Galatasaray winger Baris Alper Yilmaz this summer.
According to Fotospor, the agent of the 24-year-old winger has met with West Ham in London to discuss a potential transfer.
West Ham could face competition from Premier League rivals Liverpool, who are also keen on Yilmaz.
The winger was one of the standout performers for Turkey during the Euro 2024 Championships, and West Ham is prepared to pay a substantial fee to secure his services.
Last season, Yilmaz scored seven goals in 28 games for Galatasaray in the Super Lig, and he has attracted interest from Arsenal, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur.
West Ham need to secure signings quickly
The Hammers have already signed Luis Guilherme from Brazilian club Palmeiras during the summer window, adding depth and quality to their attacking wide areas.
Despite this, there is always room for additional quality players, and Yilmaz would be a smart addition. However, West Ham must prioritize their current needs before moving on to other targets.
Yilmaz’s transfer could exceed £30 million, raising doubts about whether West Ham would be willing to pay that amount.
