Leicester City manager Steve Cooper has confirmed that strikers Jamie Vardy and Patson Daka will miss the Premier League opener at the KP Stadium on Monday evening at 8 pm UK time.
Veteran forward Vardy, 37, with 136 goals in 307 Premier League appearances for the Foxes, and Zambia international Daka, both sustained injuries during pre-season.

He’s closer to returning but still needs some time. He’s eager to get back, but it’s challenging at that end of the pitch.”
