Not every Leicester City player is battling to keep the club in the Premier League during the second half of the season.

Ten contracted City players are currently out on loan, aiming to make an impact at their temporary clubs.

Will Alves

This is the loan move that has City fans most excited.

The attacking midfield prospect is finally getting a chance to prove himself at senior level after recovering from an ACL injury.

Despite limited football over the past year, Alves has already made an impression at Cardiff, providing his first assist in their draw with Plymouth.

Now, he has an opportunity to test his quick feet against experienced professionals, refine his game, and help Cardiff steer clear of the Championship relegation zone.

If he gains regular minutes and adjusts to senior football, he could be in contention for City’s first team next season, regardless of the division they find themselves in.

Hamza Choudhury

At the other end of the table, Choudhury is focused on helping Sheffield United secure an immediate return to the Premier League.

So far, the defensive midfielder has been part of four wins in five matches, with the only loss coming against Leeds.

He has already played two full 90-minute matches, exceeding the game-time he had at City in the first half of the season.

With an option to buy included in his loan deal, Sheffield United may consider making the move permanent if Choudhury plays a key role in their promotion push.
