According to L’Équipe (7 January), Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Milan Škriniar to bolster their defense, though the report suggested the timing might no longer favor such a transfer.
John Wenham, owner of Lilywhite Rose, expressed a differing view when speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, suggesting Gray’s shift back to midfield could reignite Spurs’ pursuit of Škriniar.
“This might go down to the final days of the window,” Wenham said. “Clubs often wait to see what deals materialize.
