West Ham Summer Signing Could Make Second Start Against Liverpool – Report
Jean-Clair Todibo is “in contention” to start for West Ham against Liverpool on Wednesday 25 September, according to Roshane Thomas.

Julen Lopetegui could hand Jean-Clair Todibo just his second start for West Ham when they face Liverpool in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday, according to The Athletic (25 September).
West Ham will travel to Anfield for this third-round match, hoping to bounce back from a poor run of form.
Mail Online (25 September) reports that Lopetegui has been hesitant to play Todibo due to concerns over his fitness.
Todibo’s limited appearances have surprised fans, especially after West Ham beat Juventus to secure his signature.
The defender joined on loan from OGC Nice with an obligation to make the move permanent for £34 million next summer (via BBC Sport, 10 August).
Despite the high expectations, Todibo has remained third-choice behind Max Kilman and Konstantinos Mavropanos.

This center-back pairing has struggled, contributing to Lopetegui’s difficult start at West Ham.
The club’s 3-0 defeat to Chelsea on 21 September marked their third consecutive home league loss for the first time in history.
Facing a strong Liverpool side won’t be easy, but a win could help turn the tide for Lopetegui’s tenure.
If Todibo is given a chance and performs well, he may finally address Lopetegui’s fitness concerns and secure a regular starting spot in the team.
