According to a report from The Times, 27-year-old midfielder Scott McTominay is available on the market, and West Ham United are eager to bring him to the London Stadium. The Hammers have previously shown interest in McTominay, having made an unsuccessful bid for him last summer.
McTominay, who came up through Manchester United’s youth ranks, has made over 250 appearances for the senior team since his debut in 2016. The Scotland international, capped 52 times, played 43 games for the Red Devils last season, scoring 10 goals.
West Ham are not alone in their pursuit; Premier League rivals Fulham are also keen on signing McTominay and have already had a bid rejected. To secure McTominay, West Ham will need to offer more than Fulham’s bid, which was under £30 million.

Another report from The Times indicates that Paqueta will be available to play for almost the entire season despite facing spot-fixing charges. Although the Brazilian midfielder could face a lengthy ban if found guilty, he is allowed to continue playing until the disciplinary process concludes. Paqueta, who denies any wrongdoing, was part of Brazil’s squad for the 2024 Copa America.
