Steve Cooper will feel fortunate to have a fit and in-form Jamie Vardy to help guide Leicester City to Premier League safety this season.
Vardy has already made a significant impact, scoring in both of Leicester’s draws in the first four league matches.
He found the net against Tottenham Hotspur on the opening weekend and put the Foxes ahead in the 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace last Saturday.
What makes Vardy’s performance even more impressive is that he did not have a pre-season, having missed all the summer friendlies due to injury.
His surprise return for the Spurs match, followed by his quick-fire contributions, has been remarkable.

Despite Vardy’s incredible form and drive, keeping Leicester City in the Premier League will not be an easy task, and he won’t be able to do it alone.
To bolster their attack, Cooper secured Odsonne Edouard on loan from Crystal Palace on Deadline Day.
Edouard could make his debut in Leicester’s critical upcoming match against Everton at the King Power Stadium.
Managing Vardy’s minutes will be crucial as the season progresses, and Edouard’s presence, along with the return of Patson Daka from injury, will offer much-needed support.
However, the timeline for Daka’s full return remains uncertain.
Leicester’s squad also has other options. Stephy Mavidi scored in the 2-2 draw against Palace during his first league start of the season and demonstrated his scoring instincts last year.
