He admitted, “That’s my responsibility. The inconsistency we’re having this year ultimately comes down to me and my approach.”

Tottenham Targeting Kubo to Address Creative Issues
With the January transfer window approaching, Fichajes reports that Tottenham are looking to bolster their attack, with Real Sociedad’s Takefusa Kubo emerging as a priority target.
The Japanese international, valued at £50 million due to his release clause, is also attracting interest from Liverpool and Bayern Munich, creating stiff competition for his signature.
Kubo has been in fine form this season, scoring three goals in 13 appearances across all competitions.
His standout campaign came in 2022/23, where he contributed 18 goals (nine goals and nine assists) in 44 matches for Sociedad.
His creativity and goal-scoring ability could bring much-needed consistency to Tottenham’s attack.
Zinedine Zidane, who worked with Kubo during the player’s stint at Real Madrid, has previously praised his potential, stating, “He’s a very interesting player, for the present and the future. I’m happy he’s doing well.”

Kubo’s versatility across attacking roles and his creativity make him an ideal fit for Postecoglou’s system.
Adding another playmaker to support James Maddison could enhance Tottenham’s midfield depth and alleviate the pressure on key players.
However, to secure Kubo’s services, Spurs must act quickly and decisively by triggering his release clause.
