Aaron Cresswell may receive another one-year extension to his West Ham contract at the end of the season.
The 35-year-old, West Ham’s longest-serving player, could sign a deal that keeps him at the club for a twelfth season, taking him past his 36th birthday in December.
Since joining from Ipswich Town for £3.75 million in July 2014, Cresswell has been a key part of the squad, contributing to some of the club’s most memorable moments.
His time at West Ham has included the final season at Upton Park, the move to London Stadium, five top-ten Premier League finishes, multiple European qualifications, and the 2023 UEFA Europa Conference League victory.
The experienced defender has played under six managers: Sam Allardyce, Slaven Bilic, Manuel Pellegrini, David Moyes, Julen Lopetegui, and Graham Potter.
This season, Cresswell has made 14 appearances for the Hammers, including 12 in the Premier League, and has started the last five league matches.
A club source told Claret and Hugh, “There is always a chance we will offer Aaron Cresswell a contract extension. We will decide at the end of the season.”
