“West Ham DUMP Paqueta in SHOCK Trial Scandal, Club World Cup GIANTS Demand INSTANT Transfer!”
West Ham United Appear Compelled to Sell Lucas Paquetá Amid Ongoing FA Legal Dispute

Lucas Paquetá has been a vital part of West Ham since his arrival in 2022, but recent months have brought considerable turmoil for both the club and the player.
The Brazilian international is currently facing serious allegations from the Football Association, who accuse him of deliberately receiving yellow cards on four occasions between November 2022 and August 2023 to influence betting markets.
After a three-week hearing in March, the case’s outcome has been postponed until the end of the season.
The most severe consequence Paquetá could face is a lifetime ban from football—a scenario that would deeply affect both him and West Ham.

Despite the allegations, West Ham have supported Paquetá, who has continued to deny any wrongdoing.
However, the club now appears open to selling the 27-year-old to avoid further complications.
According to Brazilian journalist Pablo Rua, reporting for Coluna do Fla on 13 May, Paquetá has been listed for transfer, and the club is willing to accept offers around £29.5 million.
This situation has caught the attention of Flamengo, who are reportedly keen to bring Paquetá back to Brazil.
The Série A side views him as a valuable creative addition to their squad, particularly with the Club World Cup on the horizon.
If West Ham do sell Paquetá for the reported price, it would represent a significant financial loss.
The Hammers initially paid £36.5 million to sign him from Lyon in 2022 and came close to securing an £80 million transfer to Manchester City before the betting allegations surfaced. That deal was ultimately derailed by the FA’s investigation.
Now, West Ham face a difficult situation. If Paquetá is banned from football, they may not be able to sell him at all—leaving the club with both a financial and sporting loss.
