“Everton’s David Moyes Drops JAW-DROPPING Jarrad Branthwaite Injury Bombshell You NEED to Hear!”

David Moyes provides fresh update on Jarrad Branthwaite’s injury ahead of Everton’s clash with Tottenham Hotspur

Jarrad Branthwaite has missed the entire season so far due to a hamstring injury, but just as he was nearing a return, Everton confirmed he had suffered a setback that required surgery.

Ahead of the clash with Tottenham this afternoon, manager David Moyes provided a reassuring update on the defender’s condition in his programme notes, revealing that the procedure was only a minor one and that Branthwaite should not be sidelined for long.

“Unfortunately, the good news we received on Jordan and Tarky’s contract extensions was offset by Jarrad’s setback,” Moyes wrote.

“His injury had fully healed and he was back in full training, but he still felt some discomfort.

After consulting a specialist, it was decided that a small operation would be the best course of action.

“We’re hopeful he won’t be out for too long because he’s an important part of our squad, and having him unavailable for so long wasn’t what we had planned. We wish him a speedy recovery.”

Following the successful operation, Branthwaite issued his own message on Instagram, expressing gratitude to the medical team and fans while vowing to come back even stronger.

“Operation completed successfully. Huge thanks to the medical staff for their care and to everyone who’s sent supportive messages,” the 23-year-old wrote.

“It’s been the toughest period of my career so far, but challenges build character. I’ll be back stronger and better than ever. Don’t doubt it.”

The England international will now focus on regaining fitness and returning to action as soon as possible.

With the 2026 World Cup in the United States on the horizon, Branthwaite will be eager to reestablish himself in Thomas Tuchel’s plans.

His left-footed profile remains a valuable asset, particularly given that Dan Burn is currently the only natural left-sided centre-back in Tuchel’s England squads.
