Manchester United star hints at Ruud van Nistelrooy’s lineup for clash against Leicester City
Ruud van Nistelrooy takes charge of Man Utd for the first time as interim manager in their Carabao Cup clash with Leicester City at Old Trafford.

Manchester United goalkeeper Altay Bayindir has hinted at a potential start in tonight’s Carabao Cup last-16 match against Leicester City.
Since arriving from Inter Milan, Andre Onana has been Erik ten Hag’s preferred choice.
Premier League managers often opt to play back-up goalkeepers in cup competitions to allow rotation and give secondary players a chance to shine.
However, Ten Hag has not consistently followed this approach, with Bayindir, a former Fenerbahce player, making only two appearances under him.
His first game came in last season’s FA Cup match against Newport County, a League Two team, followed by this season’s 7-0 Carabao Cup win over Barnsley in the third round.
Until now, Bayindir has not played against any team above the third tier.
But interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy might be ready to change that.
On Instagram, Bayindir posted a graphic previewing tonight’s game against Leicester, suggesting he may start.
While not a guaranteed indicator, players frequently share these graphics when they expect to play, often as a way to inform family and supporters back home.
Casemiro and Diogo Dalot have also posted similar match graphics on their social media accounts, hinting that they, too, may feature in tonight’s lineup.
