According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Leicester City is keen on acquiring Matias Soulé from Juventus. However, the offer they have presented is not yet sufficient for the Italian club. Leicester City, a Premier League team, is targeting the Juventus winger but will need to propose more than €30 million, including add-ons, to secure the Argentine starlet.
Reports from Tuttosport on Thursday indicated that Leicester is preparing a bid of €25 million plus €5 million in bonuses. Gazzetta confirms that Juventus will soon receive this offer from the King Power Stadium. Despite this, it is expected that Juventus will reject the proposal as they value Soulé at over €30 million. Hence, an offer of €30 million plus add-ons is likely required to finalize the deal.
New Juventus coach Thiago Motta wishes to work with Soulé before making any definitive decisions regarding his future. Nonetheless, Motta is aware of the club’s need to enhance their transfer budget to acquire key targets such as Teun Koopmeiners, Jean-Clair Todibo, and Jadon Sancho.
Soulé rejoined Juventus for the pre-season following a loan spell at Frosinone, where he netted 11 goals in 36 Serie A matches. The young winger’s impressive performance has made him a valuable asset for Juventus.
