Leicester City’s Strongest XI After Transfer Window Features Two New Signings

Leicester City has been active in the transfer window, making eight new signings this summer.

Despite concerns about profit and sustainability, the Foxes have managed to bring in several new players to strengthen their squad.

The primary goal for Leicester this season is Premier League survival, and these new additions could be crucial in helping the club maintain its top-flight status.

Steve Cooper’s preferred formation at the start of the season will likely remain unchanged, but the inclusion of new players will give the starting XI a fresh look compared to the one that drew with Tottenham on the opening day.

Ricardo Pereira Returns to the Starting Lineup

Initially, Cooper chose James Justin as the right-back for the first two games of the season, but the 26-year-old’s performances have been underwhelming.

Justin played on the left during Leicester’s Championship-winning campaign, but with Victor Kristiansen starting the season well, he deserves to retain his spot on the left.

Ricardo Pereira, with his valuable experience, is set to return to the starting lineup.

His presence could provide the team with defensive stability and enhance their attacking options.

Pereira will need to adjust to a more traditional back-four formation after being utilized as an inverted full-back under former manager Enzo Maresca.

Two New Signings Enter the Best XI
