BOMBSHELL TRANSFER ALERT “Star Player HUMILIATES Real Madrid & Snubs Galácticos Dream to Join LEEDS UNITED This Summer in SHOCKING Twist!”

Leeds United may have stolen a march on Real Madrid in the race to sign Sporting CP midfielder Hidemasa Morita, with reports in Portugal suggesting the move to Elland Road is virtually complete.
After successfully securing Premier League survival in their first season back in the top flight, Leeds United are now preparing for an ambitious summer rebuild.
Daniel Farke’s side can approach the transfer market with greater confidence knowing they will remain in the Premier League for the 2026/27 campaign.

Leeds have already been linked with several players as they aim to strengthen the squad. Wolves midfielder João Gomes reportedly rejected a lucrative Leeds offer in favour of a move to Atlético Madrid, while Burnley attacker Zian Flemming has also been offered to the club.
However, the biggest breakthrough could come with Morita.
According to Portuguese reports, Sporting already view the Japan international as a departing player, with claims that he “will play for Leeds” next season.

The wording suggests the transfer is close to being finalised, rather than still under negotiation.
Leeds have admired the midfielder since last summer, and Premier League survival is believed to have convinced the 31-year-old to make the switch.
Since joining Sporting CP in 2022, Morita has made more than 150 appearances, won two Liga Portugal titles and become one of the club’s most reliable midfielders.

This season, he played 49 matches in all competitions, helping Sporting reach the Champions League quarter-finals. Morita has also earned over 40 caps for Japan national football team.
Interestingly, reports in Japan claim Real Madrid have also explored a move for Morita, with José Mourinho said to be a long-time admirer.

Despite that interest, Leeds now appear to be leading the race for the experienced midfielder on a free transfer.
