According to a report in Noord Hollands Dagblad (as translated by Sport Witness), Micky van de Ven is now prepared to take his former club Volendam to court.

He claims they owe him €450,000 (£384k), citing an agreement where he was entitled to 10% of the proceeds from his sale.
Although Volendam paid him €350,000 after his move to Wolfsburg in 2021, he received nothing from his transfer to Tottenham last summer.
Volendam received €4,455,891 from Tottenham’s €40m fee to Wolfsburg due to a sell-on clause, which Van de Ven believes entitles him to 10%.
Volendam disputes this, maintaining it was a one-time agreement already fulfilled.
