“Jose Mourinho Gives Green Light for Fenerbahce’s €20 Million-Plus Transfer Bid for Everton Player”

Everton is currently in discussions to sell Beto to Fenerbahce, according to reports from Fotomac. The Turkish club is keen to acquire the striker for a fee exceeding €20 million.
Beto, who joined Everton from Udinese last summer for around £26 million, faced tough competition from Dominic Calvert-Lewin during the 2023-24 season, scoring six goals in 39 appearances across all competitions.
After less than a year at Goodison Park, there are suggestions that the Portuguese forward could be on the move. Fenerbahce is seeking a new center-forward following uncertainty over Michy Batshuayi’s contract negotiations amid reports linking him with a move to Galatasaray. This situation has prompted sporting director Mario Branco to widen his search, with Beto emerging as a primary target. It’s reported that Branco has been in discussions with Everton for some time, and new head coach Jose Mourinho has reportedly approved the signing of the 26-year-old.
The potential transfer signifies a strategic move by Fenerbahce to bolster their attacking options ahead of the upcoming season, while Everton evaluates its squad dynamics and transfer strategies amidst ongoing developments.
