Journalist asserts Spurs’ eagerness to sign Premier League star surpasses Arsenal and Man City
Ben Jacobs supports Tottenham Hotspur and other Premier League teams in pursuing Eberechi Eze in the days following the conclusion of the Euros.

Tottenham Hotspur have been heavily linked with a move for Eberechi Eze this summer, with reports suggesting he tops Ange Postecoglou’s wishlist. The Sun recently claimed Spurs are prepared to trigger Eze’s £60 million release clause.
Contrary to earlier reports of Manchester City’s interest matching Tottenham’s, The Athletic clarified that the Premier League champions are not currently pursuing the Crystal Palace midfielder.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have also entered the fray, reportedly contacting Eze’s agent about a potential move to the Emirates, as per Football Transfers.
Journalist Ben Jacobs anticipates a competitive race for Eze’s signature in the coming days, particularly between Tottenham and Arsenal. Speaking on the Last Word on Spurs podcast, Jacobs noted, “When one club shows interest, others follow suit. We might see movement on this soon after the Euros.”
He acknowledged Manchester City’s admiration for Eze but suggested Tottenham are more proactive in their pursuit compared to Arsenal.
